Street art city

The Street Art City residency is one of my favourite residencies to date. I was accompanied by three of my close friends/ fellow artists ; Spzero76, Captain Kris and Squirl. Looking back, the thing I remember most was hanging out eating food and drink cheap ( but lovely) wine together. As a vegetarian it was pretty tough being served every kind of meat you can imagine, but that is what traveling and hanging out in the middle of nowhere is all about. I would highly recommend making the trip to this incredible unique artistic concept; if you are even in France. The room I created was just one of 128 and the exterior of the massive site, is home to murals by some of the biggest names in Street Art.

The first video below showcases the four rooms we individually worked on and I think it really captures the creative process of each artist and the fun we had together. I did this edit a few weeks after buying a gopro so my videography and editing skills are quite rough around the edges, but it has its charm. The second video is just a short walk around the Fishtopia room I created, followed by a selection of images taken inside my room.

We hope to revisit Street Art City again, as a new concept has now started in a new another massive building within the site.
